Growing up, I spent my summers along the Albanian coast, where my insatiable curiosity led me on adventures that would sometimes leave me bruised and scraped. When we moved to Canada in my adolescence, a new challenge emerged-dealing with persistent acne and eczema. But interestingly, whenever I’d return home, my skin would start to clear up.
